Dunkin’ Donuts is going to be releasing some unique flavors in the near future due to the recently announced teaming up with Baskin Robbins to develop ice cream flavored caffeinated drinks.

Baskin Robbins, who apparently has over a thousand secret ice cream recipes in its vault, is owned by Dunkin’ Brands Group Inc. As a result of this new product partnership, throughout the summer customers will be able to order flavored coffee such as Mich Chocolate Chip Iced Coffee, Old Fashioned Butter Pecan Iced Coffee, and possibly more to come.

Dunkin’ Brands Group VP of Product Innovation and Executive Chef, Stan Frankenthaler, released a statement that said ‘‘We are committed to offering our guests familiar flavors with an appealing twist, and we’re particularly excited to bring together Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins for the first time to create two new refreshing iced coffee flavors. When you combine the flavor of Baskin-Robbins’ popular ice creams like Mint Chocolate Chip or Old Fashioned Butter Pecan with delicious Dunkin’ Donuts iced coffee, it’s a sure way to please any ice cream or coffee lover.’’
